December Holiday Social
Rocky Mount Mills hosted GESHRM's holiday social luncheon on Tuesday, December 17th. A delicious menu previewing the Mills restaurants was served to about 17 GESHRM members followed by a tour of Rocky Mount Mills amazing spaces. Thank you to those that attended the event and a special thank you to the Mills for a wonderful time!

February 2019 Luncheon Meeting Recap
Over 25 GESHRM members and guests attended the February 19th meeting held at the Holiday Inn, Rocky Mount. Featured presenter, Ken Gray of Ward and Smith, LLP, spoke to the audience highlighting several employment law current topics and trends. In concluding his presentation, Ken provided a "Top 9" list of suggestions for employment compliance in 2019.

January 2019 Luncheon Meeting Recap
Over 20 members and guests were in attendance for the January meeting of GESHRM on Tuesday, January 15th, at the Hoilday Inn in Rocky Mount. Members enjoyed a lunch and heard from speaker, Steve Rowe, Partner with the law firm of Poyner Spruill, LLC. Steve provided a very informative overview of the current landscape of sexual harassment in the #metoo movement era. Steve offered best practice advice to employers on harassment policy development and how best to recognize and steps to take when sexual harassment is present in the workplace.
