Meet the Speaker:
Toyinda L. Smith is the Principal of The Coaching Seat®, LLC and a championship-level facilitator with 25+ years of experience across education and business. She is a Master Champion Influence Coach and ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), leadership educator, and author of the Handbook to Coach Yourself and The Handbook to Be Champion. Toyinda designs high-energy, adult-learning-driven experiences that move people from insight to workplace action.
As a coach educator, through The Champion Influence Coaching Institute she certifies coaches and facilitators and equips talent development professionals, people leaders, and human resources professionals to lead using a coaching approach that strengthens engagement, accountability, and performance. Her proprietary SEATS Process™ Model for Coaching and Champion Influence® CHAMPION Model for Facilitation provide repeatable frameworks that transform sessions into interactive learning labs focused on real-work scenarios and rapid action planning.
Toyinda is also a TEDx and DisruptHR speaker, and a member of the ATD Charlotte Chapter and the ICF Charlotte Chapter. A Purdue University 8-Time Big Ten Medelasit in Track and Field, she brings the discipline and mindset of a champion to every room she serves.
