Workers' Compensation - Managing For Success
We all want to avoid workplace injuries and, if they occur, have the employee fully recover and return to work with no issues. Unfortunately that doesn’t always happen and when it doesn’t we often find ourselves in a legal battle with our own employees. What we do (or don’t do) from the beginning can have a dramatic effect on the outcome of the case. This presentation will give you information about what we should and should not do in managing these cases that will allow our attorney to give us the best result when the case goes to trial.
Amy Paganiis a key member of the Goldberg Segalla Workers Compensation practice group with a strong Business background. She hold a BS in Business Economics from Miami University and MBA and JD degrees from Capital University. She is a former Mediator and accomplished negotiator. Ben Greenberg concentrates his practice in the workers compensation arena, but also advises and defends employers is discrimination litigation. He has a special emphasis on the trucking industry and serves on the Board of Directors for the North Carolina Trucking Association. Ben is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Campbell University School of Law.
