Employment Law Workshop
About the Event:
All employers need to keep up to date on changes in employment law. In this two hour workshop (followed by dinner), George Ports, SPHR will update us on the latest changes in federal and state employment laws. This event is pending 2 HRCI credits.
Presenter: George Ports, SPHR
George Ports began his career in the human resources field in 1974 and has been on the staff of CAI since 1983. George’s diverse background in the human resources and employment law arenas has enabled him to provide valuable assistance to CAI members in many different areas including: dealing with sensitive/difficult employee relations issues; government laws and regulations affecting the employment relationship; government relations and public policy; positive employee relations practices; and human resources and leadership development. George is a graduate of the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC.
